When
does the Season Start?
Practice
and tryouts will begin Friday, November 15th
What
is the cost for a player?
Cost
per player is $700 and includes all ice time
for the entire season, including tryouts. If
you do not make the team there is no fee for
the tryouts.
If
I make the team will I get to play in
every game?
20
players are allowed to dress for a game, not
everyone will play in every game. Every team
member will be required to attend all games
and practice sessions.
Where
will regular on ice practice sessions and
home games be held?
Most
practice sessions and all home games will be
held at Sport O Rama (SOR) in Monsey, NY.
Regularly scheduled practice sessions are on
Mondays 6:20PM – 7:35PM and Thursdays
7:45PM – 9:15PM.
There will be frequent additional
practice sessions at Palisades Ice Rink in
Nyack, NY on Wednesdays either late
afternoon or early evening and occasional
practice sessions, as announced, will be
held at Fritz Dietl Ice Rink in Westwood,
NJ.
Will
transportation be provided?
Bus
transportation is provided for games only,
with departure and return to NHRHS East
parking area. The student will be
responsible for getting to and from practice
sessions. SOR is about a fifteen minute
drive from Northern Highlands.
Do
I need my own equipment?
Yes.
A player will be expected to provide
all the personal equipment necessary to
play.
A list of required and approved
equipment will be provided. Practice
jerseys, game jerseys and socks will be
provided for each player.
When
will preseason practices and tryouts be
held?

There
will most likely be additional practices, to
be announced, held on off days at one of the
three rinks we utilize. In addition, on off
ice days, there will be mandatory practices
held at NHRHS from 3:00PM –5:00PM
